V0.15 changes are also included in this list.
New Features of V0.16:
- Customer payment has been revamped. (V0.15)
This has been changed quite a bit, customers originally could only give one coin object for payment, but this has changed drastically.
Customers now display how much they paid plus a tip, and have a random chance of paying in different coin variations. So, for example, one could give 15 coins all in 1 coins or with a 10 and a 5 etc.
- Simple Loan system. (V0.16)
This system is not complete, however it does loan an amount to the player and you are able to pay it back in full if you have enough.
Development of this feature will need more assets, so this may take a few updates.
- Spawn locations for items has been revamped. (V0.16)
Items are now split up much more in terms of initial spawn positions. It's changed from a Vector3 system to a random point in bounds system.
- Simple Tutorial. (V0.15)
There is now a skippable text-only tutorial. It's currently quite long, and I plan to make it more interactive in the future. But for now, it explains controls and mechanics.
- New coin system. (V0.15)
With the customers, the coin system now has 4 different types of coins, 1, 3 , 5, 10.
Changes to Features of V0.16:
- Menu, Blacksmith and Shop now display more information. (V0.15 & V0.16)
These windows now have textboxes that update with actions, such as saving, buying items or repairing tools etc.
- Clearing the Cauldron now gives back main ingredients. (V0.15)
When clearing with "C", the petals, powders and mixtures are given back.
- Cauldron warning text changed. (V0.15)
I'm still editing this, but it's changed with some of it's messaged as the old system didn't work.
- Destroy tool now gives some coin when used. (V0.15)
This is simply a fail-safe feature, and is no way to actually make money in the game. It gives back cost price of items like containers and seeds, and gives significantly less money when destroying potions than what you'd earn from customers.
- Hovering a coin will show how much it's worth. (V0.16)
This is above the register of the shop.
- Added a title to customer speech bubble. (V0.16)
This may be edited in the future, but the title is now displayed with the speech bubble for clarity.
- Plot colliders are more obvious. (V0.15)
While the white box of death is a bit obnoxious, it does show the collider is above the plot and not where the icons are.
- Scythe and Watering Can icon has been swapped around. (V0.15)
To match "Q" and "W"'s position on keyboard.
- Petal upgrade prices are displayed on menu. (V0.15)
They weren't before.
Bug Fixes of V0.16:
- Upgrades didn't take coin. (Fixed in V0.15)
- Buying items from shop didn't give correct amount. (Fixed in V0.16)
- Changed all scripting and UI from "Powder & Mixture" to "Solid & Liquid". (Fixed in V0.15)
- Changed all scripting and UI from "Suprise" to "Surprise". (Fixed in V0.16)
- "Tool is broken." doesn't disappear after repairing. (Fixed in V0.15)
- When resetting, name pop up doesn't reappear. (Fixed in V0.15)
- When pressing shortcut keys in "Input Name", it brings up the other windows. (Fixed in V0.15)
- When pressing camera movement keys in "Input Name", it moves camera. (Fixed in V0.16)
- UI of recipe book doesn't work while overlaying with other colliders. (Fixed in V0.16)
